Thinking About Indian Cinema
Indian films have always impressed me a lot. From childhood till now. Gupigain Baghabain to the current anonymity. Created starting from Ray. I spent his childhood and adolescence watching Hindi movies. I have loved Indian films since my childhood. Tapan Sinha's "Story but True" is one of my favorite movies.
.
The best movies makes us question who we are and what we do long after the credits roll , and it is my goal to become a filmmaker that can induce these thoughts in audience around the world.
As an aspiring filmmaker, i have sought to expand my skills into the realm of not only writing but production as well. During my university, i teamed up with my several friend who are good at with camera , music . We set up for short films, youtube movie review content creating.
.
Also Ray, Mrinal Sen, Ritwik Ghatak, Anurag Kashyap, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra have always been my favorite directors. This was the language closest to me because I could not understand the language of another country. So all the movies I have seen in my life are on one side and Indian movies are on the other side. Its position in my heart is very strong. India has always influenced me a lot in making movies. Constantly inspiring me to work in art.
.
I was born and raised in a town bordering Siliguri. While studying in secondary school, I joined a theater called Bidrohi Sishu Kishor Theatre. I acted there for three years. This is how the ghost of filmmaking slowly began to take root in my head. That’s how my university admission time came along the way. I could not get admission in the Department of Drama and Dramatics of Jahangirnagar University. Somehow I finished graduation.
