Resettlements are human encampments spread over several locations. Resettlements result from displacements. Economic and physical displacements are common in society. We need to be acutely aware of everything that is going on around us. People lost their homes, their life, and their source of refuge, so it is crucial to provide resettlements for them. Relocations call for a lot of preferences, most of which we genuinely hold. The physical, social, economic, health, and security factors are required. Resettlements typically take place under duress. It is not an accident. People are pushed to migrate by big shorts. They set up situations so that people are powerless to remain in their positions.
There are many types of resettlements.
Rural Resettlement : It is a displacement of people in rural areas. where they may be displaced in the native communities for acquisitions of pasture land, wildlife , forestry etcetera.
Urban Resettlement : Urban Resettlements is a product of urban development and structures buildings. This displacement affect on physical , social , economical life of people. It takes enough challenges to be reconstructed and rehabilitated.
Linear Resettlement: Linear resettlement is to have linear patterns of land acquisition (highways, railways, canals, and power transmission lines). It throws on rural areas where governments or organization have to make a mega projects like power transmission line . It impacts roughly on urban densely populated area like Dhaka city.
Site-specific Resettlement: Site-specific resettlement is in the mining and in the other extractive industries, such as oil and gas. What may involve long-term land acquisition.
Components of a Resettlement Action Plan: The important and significant components of Resettlements action plan are
1.Identify the impacts and Affected Population
2.Identify the data of land acquisition.
3. A compensation framework;
4. Having a description of resettlements and restoration of livelihood activities;
5. Detailed budget;
6. implementation schedule;
7. Having a description of organizational responsibilities;
8.Having a framework for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Resettlements of Different Project Types:
Transport: Road or rail alignment ,Associated stations, terminals, bridges, Airports, seaports, river ports .
Power and energy: Transmission alignment ,Power generation plants, transmission stations, substations, and access roads , Hydroelectric power reservoirs.
Water supply and sanitation: Reticulation systems ,Pumping stations, treatment sites Reservoirs for water supply.
Solid waste : Transfer stations, landfill sites.
Urban renewal :Urban infrastructure sites.
Health: Sites for hospitals, clinics, teaching facilities,
